The origin of mother care foundation’s commitment to register and serve as a community based organization, governed and managed with vision and leadership and made up of different people, can be found in the recognition that in the fight for strong children, strong households and strong communities can have greater impact when the members of the organization are able to act together, in coalition and partnership with others, at all levels from local to national to global.

NGO’s have tried but have not been able to fully address the challenges faced by children, households and the importance of art and craft. 

We believe that our dedicated movement for action against lack of education, improved art and craft skills households and communities in South-western Uganda, fighting against povert for all households in the community.The registration of mother care foundation is participation in and contribution, to such a movement can have a great impact in empowering the communities where we serve.

The work of mother care foundation shall be community empowerment and transformation through the development and sharing of a unifying core values, common vision, mission, identity, strategies and systems for collective and determined action across organizational and geographic boundaries.

Mother care foundation must respond to the changing nature of community needs and be responsive to the ways in which parties to the organization are organized and behave, and the ways mother care foundation local peers, partners, collaborators and international partners organize themselves and respond to the changes.
